I just heard today that Qualified was named the winner of the 2012 North Texas Book Festival. www.ntbf.org. The festival focuses on self-published or small publisher books. The score sheets show that Qualified received an average score of 9.63 out of 10! Not too bad for a book with no professional editing or illustrating services!
Now that the Republican field has been narrowed to four candidates — Gingrich, Paul, Romney, and Santorum — voters should make sure that their favored candidate is actually qualified for the job. You may be surprised.
Even if your favorite candidate is highly qualified, his “intangibles” may hurt his candidacy and make him unelectable. While the qualifications (experiences and abilities) are set, the importance of each candidate’s intangibles varies with each voter.
If you’re like me and want to make sure we elect the most qualified candidates to public office (from president on down), please check out my new project at Kickstarter.com and consider supporting me with a donation. Any amount will help. Thanks!
I’ve posted at the top right of my home page on QualifiedPresidents.com the audio file of my interview Tuesday morning on a Richmond, VA radio program: WRVA 1140 Morning News with Jimmy Barrett. http://www.1140wrva.com/pages/jimmysnewpage.html It’s about 6 minutes long. Enjoy!
Check out my interview this morning with radio host from Boston, Jeff Santos! We walked straight through the Republican candidates’ qualifications and had (I think) a good, wide-ranging conversation. The audio file is also posted at the top right of my homepage. http://www.revolutionboston.com/podcast/2012-01/3660
Check out my radio interview this morning on Tampa Bay’s Fox News Radio affiliate. I was on AM Tampa Bay with Jack, Tedd, and Corey. It’s about 7 minutes long and is also posted on the top right side of my website. http://www.970wfla.com/player/?mid=21711534
Good news! Today legal blog AboveTheLaw.com posted a link to a Tex Parte Blog article about my book! ATL is one of the most popular legal blogs in the country, and hopefully this will help publicity/sales! Thanks to all who have been encouraging and supportive! http://abovethelaw.com/ (go to “non sequiturs” on January 5, 2012)
